Hi there! I am Jessica A. Garcia, owner of For the Love of Words Speech and Language Therapy Services, PLLC. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist, certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), and licensed by the State of Texas. As a speech-language pathologist, I assess, diagnose, and treat children with communication delays and disorders. ​I have a bachelor’s degree in business education and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO). I started working with children and their families in 2007 with pediatric in-home health and early intervention for children at birth-3 years of age. In 2008, I moved to the school setting, where I spent sixteen years treating school-age children! Our vision at For the Love of Words Speech and Language Therapy Services is to help make our client's communication needs accessible and achievable. Our mission is to provide clients from two years old to young adults with the highest quality, professional speech and language services using evidence-based practices. Services include caregiver consultation and education, comprehensive evaluation, and individualized treatment plans for each client. We aim to involve and educate caregivers and family members in therapy because carry-over and generalization of learned skills are critical to helping our clients reach their full potential! We help clients receive the needed services by making therapy appointments easy for working parents and offer mobile speech therapy services, such as local in-home, daycare, school, or teletherapy for your convenience!
